Ambassador Toys

Case Study:

Ambassador Toys, a loved local toy store in San Francisco, wanted to increase brand awareness amongst new residents and visitors. They wanted a clever way to reach this audience in locations that were near their stores.

In response, we took an unconventional approach by strategically using placemats as a marketing tool. The placemats incorporated a “where’s waldo” type game for children. If they found the item mentioned in the busy illustration, the parents would receive a discount if they brought the placemat to the store. Using placemats, Ambassador Toys could reach a broad audience in their vicinity creatively and engagingly. The success of this campaign demonstrates the value of thinking outside the box and using unconventional approaches to increase brand awareness and attract new customers.
