Ooma Office is a VoIP service that helps small businesses manage their phone systems without the need for complicated hardware or contracts. The challenge for the company was positioning itself as a hassle-free solution for small businesses. To achieve this, the marketing team developed a fun out-of-home (OOH) campaign that would capture the attention of small business owners.


The OOH campaign consisted of billboards, bus stop ads, and posters strategically placed in high-traffic areas in various cities across the United States. The campaign featured funny concepts like a kid saying “Installing Ooma Office is as easy a shaving my eyebrows” and baby chicken saying “Installing Ooma Office is as easy as outwitting an earthworm.” The bright and playful visuals of the ads communicated the ease of use and the fun of the service, and the messaging resonated with the target audience. The campaign succeeded, resulting in a significant increase in brand awareness and new customers for Ooma Office.
